About Sunil Vishnu K

Sunil Vishnu K is a passionate theatre artist, first generation entrepreneur, inspirational teacher, a people lover and very inquisitive student of life – all rolled into one. In a career spanning just 10 years, he has done everything from acting, direction, writing, teaching to people resource training and business consulting.  After finishing his masters in commerce, he headed for a management degree in marketing communications from MICA, Ahmedabad. Following a short working stint with McCann Ericson, Mumbai and Elephant Design, Pune where he notably worked on corporate identity design of Bajaj Auto Ltd,  he co-founded his own entertainment entrepreneurship called ‘evam’ in 2003 which today  holds the distinction of being  awarded  the young performing arts entrepreneur India. Evam, which is arguably the fastest growing independent theatre company in Asia, strives to make people happy, the medium being theatre. At evam he plays the roles of COO, artistic director and workshop designer/facilitator.
Sunil believes in the power of theatre to make a difference to people’s life and the helping people discover the ‘happiness quotient’. Sunil also co-heads the content design and development team at evam’s Happy Factory which created the patented learning methodology “theatreLIVE” for HR training and learning development needs. Clients include corporates like Airtel, Infosys, Sathyam Cinemas, UBS, Standard Chartered Bank, educational institutes like MICA, IIM’s, IIT’s, etc. He has facilitated executed more than 500 training modules and workshops traveling the length and breadth of India and is a self confessed change catalyst.
